Chris Brown faces up to 4 years jail time due to minor car accident

A minor car accident that occurred a month ago resulted in Chris Brown being charged with a hit and run charge in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 25.

Records from the Los Angeles City attorney’s office, who filed the charges, show that the 24-year-old R&B singer allegedly failed to submit proper documents and other information as required by law before leaving the scene of the alleged accident.

Brown claims he was able to give the woman, with whom he was involved in the minor accident, the right information. Brown also accused the woman of taking advantage of the situation by hoping to get more money from him when she saw media attention was on the accident.

Brown faces more trouble as the incident is now being referred to the county district attorney for a possible probation violation related to his assault case against pop star Rihanna. If convicted of this, he could face up to four years in prison.
