Denton woman reports alleged assault by boyfriend

A call was received by Denton Police regarding reports of an assault committed on the night of Tuesday, August 20.

According to the report, a 30-year-old female called the Denton Police Precinct at around 9 p.m., claiming of an assault was made against her by her boyfriend. Denton Police said the call came from a housing complex somewhere in the vicinity of block 2000 along Stockbridge Road.

The woman who was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend also reported that her debit card was stolen and used by her boyfriend. The woman claims that she lost around $1,500 from the debit card that was stolen from her.

Police have not arrested the suspect and no charges have been filed pending further investigation.
