Drunk driving accident in Austin apartment complex resulted in arrest

A vehicle driver who had too much to drink was arrested by Austin police after he caused an accident, KVUE reported on July 8.

According to reports, Curt Anderson was apprehended by police after he crashed into a vehicle near Kensington Apartments. Upon questioning, police observed strong signs of alcohol intoxication from Anderson. Police said Anderson had a 0.414 percent blood alcohol level in the first testing–five times higher than the legal state limit of 0.08 percent. Anderson, who was charged with a third degree DWI, stated that he consumed a “six-pack” of beers before the incident. His bail was set at $15,000.
