Motley Crue’s Vince Neil charged with assault in Las Vegas

The well-known heavy metal vocalist of Motley Crue, Vince Neil, was recently charged with assault in Las Vegas, an article of Rolling Stone reported on July 6.

According to reports, authorities are pursuing a misdemeanor battery charge against the 55-year-old Motley Crue front man due to allegations that he attacked a woman seeking the autograph of actor Nicolas Cage at the Aria Hotel. In a video taken after the supposed assault, in which Neil pinned a woman down after grabbing her hair, Neil is seen in a brawl with Cage just outside the hotel. Neil’s spokesperson did not comment regarding the incident. Vince Neil was charged with a similar offense in 2011 and may serve up to six months of jail time if found guilty of the charge.
