Coolio busted in LAX for carrying loaded gun

Authorities at the Los Angeles airport LAX recently confirmed that well-known rap artist Coolio was apprehended after a loaded firearm was recovered from his possession, an article of CBS News reported on September 18.

According to reports, the Transportation Security Administration notified LAX authorities on September 17 saying a man was detained after admitting he owned a suspicious bag that belonged to his travelling companion. Investigations revealed that the contents of the bag were owned by Coolio, 53, who had already traveled through security. The first man’s name was not released. A felony charge for carrying a firearm was later filed against the rapper. Coolio became famous in 1995 for his hit song “Gangsta’s Paradise.”
