Man charged with murder for shooting estranged wife
Forty-year-old Irving resident Daniel Fink was indicted on a murder charge on November 21 by a Denton County grand jury for allegedly shooting and killing his estranged wife, 50-year-old Aide Fink, the Denton Record-Chronicle reported.
According to Flower Mound police, Daniel shot Aide at her house in the 3300 block of Heather Glen Drive after midnight on September 25. He is now currently detained in county jail on a $1 million bond.
Captain Richard Brooks said Aide filed for a divorce petition on Aug. 4, 2014 and was seeking custody of their three children – 16-year-old and eight-year-old sons and an 11-year-old daughter.
Brooks said all three children were inside the house at the time of the shooting, and the 16-year-old son was the person who called the police.
