Morgan Freeman’s late granddaughter’s boyfriend charged for her murder
A murder charge was recently filed against the boyfriend of Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, after she was killed near her apartment in New York.
Reports said a second-degree murder charge has been filed against 30-year-old Lamar Davenport, as it is suspected that he was responsible for the death of his girlfriend, E’Dena Hines. Authorities found E’Dena’s body on August 16th on a street near her apartment complex. E’Dena, 33, granddaughter of the well-known actor, Morgan Freeman, was pronounced dead after she was rushed to the hospital for multiple stab wounds around her torso. Hines and Davenport were reportedly living together at the time of the incident. Authorities charged Davenport the following day after people reported having witnessed him assaulting Hines. After his arrest, Davenport was turned over to a hospital for a mental evaluation.
On his official Facebook page, Morgan Freeman acknowledged and thanked all the people who sympathized and supported their family.
