Texas football coach Charlie Strong given subpoena in trustee divorce case
University of Texas head football coach Charles “Charlie” Rene Strong was issued a subpoena as a “critical witness” in the divorce case of a University of Louisville in Kentucky trustee and athletics booster, Jonathan Blue, and his wife, Tracy Blue.
A report from the Louisville Courier-Journal stated that the court subpoena is asking for “copies of Strong’s emails, texts, and other correspondence with Tracy Blue from 2012 to the present, and for the return of clothing and a Movado watch she allegedly gave him.”
Strong has been the head coach at the University of Texas at Austin for the past two football seasons, setting an 11-14 record.
In a statement, Strong said, “I was recently given information regarding a marital dispute between a couple I know in Louisville. I’m not a party to their divorce and have received no court order in this case.”
