Drake Bell enters not guilty plea to last year’s DUI arrest
Drake Bell recently entered a not guilty plea in connection to the driving under the influence (DUI) charge filed against him late last year, a June 29 article of CBS Los Angeles reported.
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old actor denied the misdemeanor DUI offense filed against him on December 21, 2015 in Los Angeles. During Bell’s apprehension, he reportedly avoided undergoing chemical testing after authorities on San Fernando Road noticed him driving erratically, the District Attorney’s Office said. Reports also revealed that Bell has a prior DUI conviction from six years ago and he may serve a jail term of up to one year if convicted of another. Bell, who is still at large, is expected to appear in a court hearing on August 5.
