Football player Seferian-Jenkins busted in Florida due to DUI allegations

Professional football player Austin Seferian-Jenkins recently ran into trouble with the law after Florida authorities arrested him due to a suspicion that he was driving a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, an article of reported on September 23.

Reports said at 4:09 a.m., the 23-year-old former tight end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was arrested after authorities noticed he was driving 75 to 80 mph on a road with a speed limit of 55 mph. He was driving erratically before he was stopped. Aside from a misdemeanor DUI, several charges were filed against Seferian-Jenkins after he was found to be driving with an invalid driver’s license. A spokeswoman for Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department confirmed Seferian-Jenkins was transported to Orient Road Jail after his arrest.
