Professional football player Michael Floyd was recently apprehended in Arizona for driving a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants (DUI), which led to his dismissal from his team, an article of ESPN reported on December 14.
According to reports, aside from the DUI, Floyd was charged with failure to obey a police officer after the December 12 incident, in which he was found unresponsive behind the steering wheel while the engine of his vehicle was still running. Responding officers reported they needed to block Floyd’s vehicle from traffic before waking him up. Days after the arrest, the majority of officials for the Cardinals decided to terminate Floyd from the team.
